The world of gaming has become increasingly popular over the last decade just like the online college degrees. Gamers have the ability to play with other gamers from all over the world through the various avenues including the computer and game systems. One game that has become well known is Everquest. It is a 3D fantasy world with customized avatars as the players.
This particular game runs on multiple game servers, and there are two different types of game plays. Adventuring and trade skilling. In adventuring, the avatar is obtaining and collecting loot, and trading. This involves social interacting as a group, or it can be done alone. They also have the ability to “raid.” Trade skilling, is mainly crafting the game items. Everquest also has over 375 plus zones including oceans, cities, deserts and so on. Here is a brief overview of the classes that work with this game.
➢ Tank classes. This class has a greater number of health points. The player can be a warrior, shadow night or paladin.
➢ Damage dealers. With this one there is greater collateral damage to the opponents. It goes by DPS, which is an acronym for damage per second. A sub point to this is the melee damage dealers. They have medium number of hit points. Can include: beast lord, berserker, monk, ranger, or rogue.
➢ Casters. In this particular class it gains the lowest number of hit points. Casters include: wizards, magicians, and necromancers.
➢ Healers. With this form of class it gains the medium level of hit points, but has the added ability of crowd control. This can be used to keep numerous enemies from attacking.
This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this game. This can become a time consuming game, so it is important to keep that in mind. Be healthy about it so as not to become devoured by the gaming world!
