As with many other such games, Everquest is based on the premise that you are given a mission and a character, with the goal being to complete the mission. There are many roles in Everquest from which you can choose to create your character, including casters, damage dealers, deities and more.

The bard uses songs to cause damage as well as raise the group’s statistics.
Start by creating your new character under the “Create New Character” option of the game. You will be taken to a new screen where you will be able to choose your class, deity, race and such. Bards can be Half Elves, Humans, Drakkins, Vah Shirs or Wood Elves.
You will choose intelligence and charisma, as this is important to the characters songs. In addition, you’ll need dexterity, strength, and stamina for defense and offense against enemies.
